Yea… no. That couldn't be farther from the truth. Just like we all assume Santa loves us, we also assume owning a business is the pinacle of our careers, that it’s always rainbows and butterflies.
Sure, being your own boss, calling the shots, and being the master of your own destiny and schedule is great. However, there is a dark underbelly that even the most disgruntled business owners won’t tell you about, especially these business coaches that sell the snake oil of fast, easy, and copious amounts of money.
Big. Fat. Lie.

Not everyone can do it.
It’s not a mindset issue. It’s a choice of whether giving up a huge portion of your life is worth it. There is something to be said for 9-to-5, set hours, benefits, retirement plan, and a regular paycheck.
