Ladies, It’s Time To Stop Believing You’re Intimidating

And guys: It’s time to man up and give it a shot.

“Why are you still single?” That’s the million-dollar question I get asked frequently. Like every other smart, beautiful, gregarious, and successful woman whose shoulders are sore from shrugging with “I dunno” to that question, if I knew the answer, I wouldn’t be.

I have no idea why. The most common answer from those who know me is: “It’s because you’re intimidating.” Hence, why I seem to exist in a perpetual state of singlehood.

Am I really doomed to always have my toilet seat down and never have to be woken up by human snoring (dog snoring is OK) or share my bed with anyone with two legs?

I mean, I think I’m attractive. I am successful and accomplished and have a good personality. I am very social, involved in the community, meet people easily, and have a lot of friends.

It seems guys are intimidated by all that, which is kind of bullshit, especially when my single guy friends complain they can’t meet a good woman.

Umm… maybe you have, but you deemed her “intimidating” or made some other negative assumption about her because she seems too perfect and unapproachable to you.
